Cultivating Hope in times of uncertainty

The essence of life takes place in the phase of transition. It is in that interim spaciousness that all possibilities, creativity and innovative ideas can come to life and flourish. – Susan Bridges

It’s said that the only constant is change, but so often we experience change as something fearful, to resist or avoid. The sheer volume of change we’ve experienced recently whether related to work, health, social conditions or world events, has provided us with many challenges as well as opportunities. This workshop is an invitation to deepen our understanding of change and befriend this unavoidable aspect of human experience. We’ll explore:

Why we find change so challenging
Our views and beliefs about change
How we can work with change instead of against it
The deeper lessons we can learn living through change

Contemplative practices provide us with a comprehensive system enabling us to both explore and embrace change. The workshop will include exercises, reflections, meditation, enquiry and discussion.
